The science of light

It's called photobiomodulation: the process by which skin absorbs light at specific wavelengths and responds to it. No magic, no promises — optics applied to skincare, studied for decades in laboratories and clinics.

Four wavelengths, one ritual

415 nm — blue light. Works at the surface of the skin. Studied for its effect on the look of oily-prone skin: a cleaner, more balanced appearance.

590 nm — amber light. A gentle light aimed at tone: it supports the look of more even, more radiant skin.

660 nm — visible red light. The glow you see when you switch on your Glow Mask, and the most studied wavelength in photobiomodulation. It supports the look of firmer, more even skin.

850 nm — near-infrared. Outside the visible spectrum: you don't see it, but it's there. It reaches deeper layers of the skin and complements the work of red light to support a firmer look.

Six light modes

Each mode combines the lights differently. Select it on the device with a tap; each one is preset to 10 minutes.

  • Mode 1 · Essential — 660 nm red light. The starting point for any skin type.
  • Mode 2 · Radiance — 590 nm amber + 660 nm red. For a more even, radiant tone.
  • Mode 3 · Firmness — 660 nm red + 850 nm near-infrared. The most studied combination; for firmer-looking skin.
  • Mode 4 · Morning ritual — amber + red + near-infrared. Three lights to start the day.
  • Mode 5 · Balance — 415 nm blue light. For oily-prone skin: a cleaner, more balanced look.
  • Mode 6 · Night ritual — all four lights. The complete ritual before bed.

122 high-power LEDs

The Glow Mask spreads 122 LEDs — in a 1:1:1:1 ratio across the four wavelengths — over a flexible soft-silicone design that adapts to your face, so light reaches forehead, cheeks, contour and chin evenly. Three intensity levels (50%, 75% and 100%) and a pulse function.

Your ritual

Clean, dry skin. Switch it on, choose your mode, and lie back with your eyes closed and the eye protectors on. 10 to 20 minutes per session, 3 to 4 times a week. No clinic chair, no commute. Consistency over weeks is what makes the difference in how your skin looks and feels.

The Glow Mask is our manufacturer's model G15, with CE marking, RoHS compliance, U.S. FDA 510(k) clearance (K250830, June 2025) and a Health Canada medical device licence (No. 113279). In Mexico it is sold for cosmetic use at home.
